What Is Plasma Fibroblast?
Plasma Fibroblast is a minimally invasive skin tightening and lifting procedure offered as an alternative treatment to traditional cosmetic surgery. It is known to reverse the effects of aging without surgery, anesthesia, or injections. Often referred to as “soft surgery” The NuVissa plasma pen is a non surgical, medical grade instrument used to lift skin and restore a youthful appearance to many areas of the face and body. It is very effective in achieving the following results:
- removing wrinkles
- tightening loose skin
- reducing sagging skin
- eliminating excess tissue
- improving skin texture
- diminishing scarring
- minimizing stretch marks
- increasing elasticity
How Does Plasma Fibroblast Work?
Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a fairly new method used to eliminate wrinkles and regenerate sagging skin. This minimally invasive treatment uses a pen-like device which delivers a plasma arc just above the skin, delivering sufficient heat to create creating small thermal injuries to the superficial layer of the epidermis when the arc reacts with ambient air and the chemistry of your skin. The energy delivered to the skin causes contraction of the skin and stimulates fibroblast activity, encouraging tissue regeneration and collagen growth within the dermal layers of the skin.
This process creates instant tightening with visible results lasting two to five years, similar to a surgical procedure but without the scalpel or anesthesia, and with very little recovery time.

On the day of the procedure, please arrive makeup free and allow adequate time. Consent will be obtained, and desired areas will be confirmed. Photos will be obtained of areas to be treated for comparison.
A topical anesthetic cream will be applied to the skin and you will be checked at several intervals to ensure complete numbing. The procedure will be virtually pain-free. Length of procedure will vary based on area to be covered. All aftercare instructions and products will be provided. Photos will again be obtained after completion.
Following the procedure, redness and swelling will likely occur for a few days. Your skin may feel tight, similar to a sunburn. Tiny brown dots will remain on the skin for 4-9 days. This may not be as visible on naturally darker-skinned individuals. Please refrain from covering treated areas with makeup or any creams other than what is provided by the practitioner.
Getting The Most Out Of Your Plasma Fibroblast Treatment
Aging is a natural process that we cannot halt. However, the impacts of our treatments can provide lasting results. You’ll see immediate improvements, but the real magic happens over the following 8-12 weeks. During this time, your skin continues to firm and enhance as your fibroblast cells kick-start collagen production.
Collagen, a major component of your skin, plays a pivotal role in strengthening it while also enhancing its elasticity and hydration. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen, leading to a loss in skin plumpness and the onset of wrinkles. This is where our treatments step in, stimulating your body’s natural collagen production to restore that youthful firmness and elasticity.
However, lifestyle choices greatly influence aging and skin damage, which can potentially reduce the longevity of your treatment outcomes. Factors such as sun exposure, diet, and smoking can affect the health and appearance of your skin.
Depending on the initial condition of your skin and your desired level of improvement, you may wish to schedule follow-up sessions. These are typically determined and carried out at 8-week intervals to allow for the full effects of the previous treatment to manifest.
In this article, we’ve delved into the world of collagen and its crucial role in our skin’s health and appearance. But let’s not stop there. We’re also excited to introduce you to three cutting-edge treatments: Fibroblast Lip Flip, Fibroblast Elbow or Knee Lift, and Fibroblast Hand Rejuvenation. These procedures use the power of fibroblast cells to stimulate collagen production, resulting in tighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.
